Have you ever gone out to eat and you just want a peaceful and quiet lunch or dinner with friends or family? Well now you can at Grant Central Pizza in Atlanta, Georgia.

Grant Central Pizza has now banned crying children at their restaurant. The business was starting to receive many complaints from customers about children crying and throwing tantrums while they are trying to peacefully eat.

Because of their decision to ban screaming children the restaurant has attracted national attention. On the menu they give customers a nice little note to read while contemplating what they are going to eat stating:

“Dear all present and future patrons: GCP is proud of its reputation as a family restaurant, a title that we will work to keep. Unfortunately a number of our diners have posted unpleasant experiences because of crying and unsupervised children. To ensure that all diners have an enjoyable lunch or dinner with us we respectfully ask that parents tend to their crying tots outside.”

With this I can sympathize with both parties. Of course everyone wants to eat in peace but I find it kind of harsh to ban the kids.

Kids are going to be kids, sometimes they scream and throw tantrums, especially babies, it’s only natural to them.

Although I do understand people are paying for greats services and don’t want to be interrupted and disturbed by screaming and yelling children, but parents want to be able to eat out as well.

I don’t know how this place can call themselves a family restaurant still, but hey it’s a business!
